About

Born and raised in Germany, I started my career at Siemens, where I worked on projects involving biometric and RFID security access systems for industrial automation facilities and high-security areas. Before long, my focus shifted to case studies on emerging programming languages, advising on best-practice methods for application development.

In 2008, I left Germany to work across the globe – starting in Switzerland and soon the UK, the US and Asia. Over the years, I’ve worked as a business development and implementation consultant for various companies.

I’ve been actively involved in the anti-piracy movement for more than a decade. In addition to that, I collaborate with several charities in different countries around the world. Some of my latest technology projects include Database, File Sharing, Simatic Logon and Software Location. To support clients worldwide, I apply my years of expertise in outsourcing, business development, anti-piracy, project financing, and hotel tourism consulting.

CHARITY

Engaging in charitable work is a fundamental part of my mission, as I am committed to leveraging my platform to support meaningful causes. Contributing to initiatives that positively impact communities not only drives real change but also aligns deeply with my personal and professional values.

Extending a Hand: Relief Mission to Earthquake-Affected Communities in Cebu

On the heels of the recent devastating earthquake that struck Cebu and surrounding areas, I had the opportunity to be part of a heartfelt mission — delivering much-needed relief goods to communities whose lives were suddenly shaken, both literally and figuratively. It was a humbling experience that reminded me of the power of compassion, solidarity, and community.

Reaching Out Where It Matters Most

Disasters hit the vulnerable hardest. We quickly mobilized resources and coordinated with local partners. Our goal was to get relief to those in greatest need, efficiently and swiftly. Our team visited several hard-hit municipalities, bringing essential supplies such as food, clean water, hygiene kits, and basic necessities to support the local communities. Here’s a quick overview of the areas we reached:

  • Borbon, Cebu – We gave relief goods to 150 families deeply affected by the quake. Many had damaged homes and struggled to access essentials.
  • Daanbantayan, Cebu – We distributed aid to 20 families, and the deep gratitude shown by the recipients was a moving testament to their resilience.
  • Compostela, Cebu – We distributed relief to 10 families. Each had their own story of resilience and recovery.

Each location presented its own challenges, but also its own moments of inspiration. From the tireless local volunteers to the smiles of children despite the harsh conditions, the spirit of these communities was unbreakable.

More Than Just Relief

Delivering goods was just one part of our mission. We aimed to demonstrate the presence and solidarity these communities deserve, making sure they knew we stood with them during this difficult time. We believe that small acts of kindness can bring healing. The road to recovery is long, but we are committed to standing with these communities and offering ongoing support.

Supporting the Youngest Victims of STS Trami: Patrick Achache’s Aid to Dr. Felipe Cevallos Elementary School

On October 22, Severe Typhoon, locally known as Kristine, struck the Philippines with devastating force, triggering heavy rainfall, widespread flooding, and landslides. Among the hardest-hit were vulnerable communities, including children, who were left with little to no resources as they braced for recovery.

In response, Patrick Achache and the 201st Squadron of the Coast Guard provided essential aid to the Dr. Felipe Cevallos Elementary School, bringing relief to 84 young students and their families. The donation included crucial school supplies, a printer for educational use, and four sacks of rice, with each child receiving two kilograms. Additionally, the relief package featured canned goods such as corned beef and four sacks of used clothing to support families who lost essential items in the storm.

Achache’s efforts are part of his ongoing commitment to disaster relief and education support, recognizing that the needs of students and their families go beyond immediate recovery. By providing resources that help children return to school, he hopes to restore a sense of normalcy, security, and stability.

Making a Difference: A Heartfelt Donation to Gunting Day Care Center

At Gunting Day Care Center in Gunting, Barili, Cebu, small acts of kindness can have a profound impact. Recently, a generous donation was made to the center, providing a 28-yard length floor mat. This thoughtful gift will significantly improve the children’s playtime experience, ensuring they no longer have to play on the hard, uncomfortable floor.

The new mat will provide a safe and comfortable space for the children to play, learn, and explore. While it may seem like a small gesture, it demonstrates the power of simple contributions to bring joy and comfort to others. The donation reflects the belief that even the smallest things can make a big difference in people’s lives.

This meaningful act of charity was made possible through an ongoing partnership with Yvonne, who consistently identifies opportunities to help those in need. Her dedication and commitment to these projects have enabled many such initiatives, making it possible to support and uplift the community. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Yvonne for her tireless efforts and for bringing attention to these impactful causes

The donation to Gunting Day Care Center is a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion. It’s a reminder that by working together and contributing in any way we can, we can create a positive change in the world, one small step at a time.

In a world where technology plays a pivotal role in education, ensuring students have access to computers is more important than ever. One way to make a difference in the lives of young learners is to donate computers to schools in need.

Technology has revolutionized the way students learn and teachers teach. With computer access, students can conduct research, practice essential skills, and collaborate with their peers. Additionally, teachers can use technology to create engaging lesson plans and track student progress more efficiently. By donating computers to Consolacion Elementary School, we can provide these essential tools to students and teachers who may not otherwise have access to them.

Summer heat can be unbearable, especially for students and teachers trying to focus in sweltering classroom conditions.

His Secret to a Happy Life

It has always been believed that rain is a symbol of blessing. Right after Christmas day, there in the modest community of Alumnos awaited in the chapel were 400 children and 100 adults for a surprise bundle of joy from their most awaited foreign friend, Patrick.

As Patrick approached the chapel, the warmth of their welcome is revealed as the claps of the familiar faces of toddlers and elderlies grew louder. Each received rice, canned goods, noodles, bread and juice. It was as if the audience turned into an orchestra of happiness.

There goes the radiance of their friend’s smile, and the purity of his heart is a true projection of his innocent desire to bring a smile to everyone with the simple gesture of sharing despite being presented with the choice to spend his natal day solely for luxurious parties and expensive places.

Elderly on Mothers Day

Our visit at Seven Sisters of Servants of Mary Elderly Home was transformative. As we brought groceries and food for around thirty grandmothers, with the initial aspiration to quickly distribute lunch to the elderly this became a moving experience.

After distributing food and endorsing the groceries of Milk, Coffee, biscuits and more to the sisters-in-charge, the result of our short talks with them has pushed us to render a few songs, but surprisingly we did more than that. Our group, along with the Grandmoms sang old songs and showed a few TikTok steps.

Beneath the happiness we shared with them was a realization that it is what we give, be it time, service or love that makes us worth remembering.

We salute the strong grandmoms!

Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth

“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” Cebu Super Typhoon Odette Action Super Typhoon Rai, locally known as Odette, made its first landfall, bringing torrential rains, violent winds, floods and storm surges to the Visayas and Mindanao Islands. Overnight, the Typhoon left hundreds dead and hundreds of thousands of families homeless.

Initial reports showed devastation across many areas of the impacted regions, but it is only over the subsequent weeks that the full scale of damage has come to light. The initial assessments only hinted at the scale of destruction – nearly 1.7 million houses damaged or destroyed, massive damage to infrastructure, agricultural land, fishing communities and livelihoods across a vast geographic area of the country. In total, the Typhoon severely affected an estimated 9.9 million people across the six worst hit regions, leaving about 2.4 million people in need of assistance. More than a month on, nearly 144,000 people remain displaced, and many more are living in damaged shelters with little access to basic services.

Quickly after Cebu was short of everything. No drinking water, no electricity, no signal, no internet, no transportation, no gasoline, no food. The government declares state of calamity as Typhoon Odette leaves Patrick despite being thousands of kilometers away from the disaster did everything possible to lessen the burden and pain and helped where he could. He provided financial assistance for over 70+ families to rebuild their totally damaged homes, provided over 40 families with a drinking water filter systems to generate drinking water without any chemical or electricity use since drinking water was hard to find and locals got sick from drinking dirty water from the nearby rivers, sends canned goods to affected provinces, solar lamps, generators and so on.

Everlasting Hope Cebu Foundation

Life-Changing!!!

NAP Solutions’ visit to the Everlasting Hope Cebu foundation was extraordinary with the thought that we bring hope to the cancer kids, however, it was the other way around.

As we unload the donation items: rice, canned goods, and noodles, table, water dispensers, solar lights, mugs and tumblers, books and art materials, and life straws, a 3-yr old child Gerald was excitedly waiting for the toys with the silent hope that he will get one. He got not just one but two toys. The rest of the bag of toys await their eager recipients.

Everlasting Hope Cebu foundation gives food and shelter, has teaching programs, and provides financial support for kids under cancer treatment.

They have kids coming from Visayas and Mindanao currently from 2 to 18 years who are suffering from different types of cancer.

Cancer is a dreaded disease. It is amazing how these kids find joy even from simple things in spite of their condition.

For us, it was more of an eye-opener with the realization of being able to appreciate everything we have. To be grateful for little blessings. To enjoy the company of others and mostly to take care of our health.

To Bea and Juan, we salute you for your dedication and love for these kids.

To Everlasting Hope Cebu Foundation, we pray that you continue your mission.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time”. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

Imagining the struggles of the teachers in publishing modules. Taking turns on the limited number of printers while thinking if they will be able to prepare everything for the scheduled distribution of modules to their respective students.

One printer and some reams of bond paper do make a difference.

Truly overwhelming. Such small gesture of kindness reversed with beautiful smiles.

Carmen District

Supporting education has always been one of my advocacies ever since I started my own company in the Philippines. This is the reason why I was ecstatic to hear from one of my staff that we could actually donate our office’s used printer to an Alternative Learning School in one of Cebu’s provinces and provide other stuff that would be of great help during the pandemic.

The photos above show our hardworking Human Resource Manager who really took the time and effort to deliver the printer, bond papers, masks, face shields, and alcohol to Carmen District Alternative Learning School (ALS). The ALS coordinator in the province personally accepted our humble offerings with a huge smile and an amiable personality. It was indeed a great day after seeing how grateful Ms. Marivic Espina was when we brought the supplies, which will surely be very useful to the students of Carmen District ALS.

Feeding in Barili

With all things considered, this time has been difficult for everyone especially in areas away from the commercial district as people struggle to find work because options have been very limited. Spearheaded by our very own, Yvonne and the perennial support of NAP Solutions Inc., this feeding has inspired employee volunteers to take part in the activity. Thanks to our ever generous Boss Patrick Achache as he sponsored the feeding event that has brought smiles to the kids and families in Gunting Barili, Cebu. It all transpired as all excited volunteers prepared for the afternoon guests with a pack lunch and a packet of happy surprise for the kids.

At exactly 3 o’ clock in the afternoon, the program started with a lively song where kids and the volunteer employees and locals participated.

Around fifty families received rice, canned goods, noodles and a hundred beautiful children had a pack of assorted biscuits, chocolates and candies.

The activity was wrapped up with a delicious meal and of course ice cream.

Indescribable, as the best way to multiply happiness is simply to share it with others.

Donating to Mandaue Fire Victims

It was March this year when a huge fire hit 2 barangays in Mandaue City, Cebu. Over 2,000 million properties were lost and around 500 families lost their homes. I felt the urge to help them in my little way, and together with JCI, I visited the evacuation area to donate and personally see the situation of the people affected.

You may also make your own donations for the fire victims by getting in touch with JCI Mandaue.

Chemotherapy Sponsorship

I don’t know how many times I can say this but I always enjoy being in the Philippines and the Filipinos are very dear to me. So when I heard about Greika from Talisay needing help with her operation, I felt like I had to give whatever I could offer. She’s only 5 years old but she has a very bad tumor. I donated money for her treatment since her family could not afford it. I sponsored her chemotherapy to give her a chance to live and now she is in a hospital in Fuente. I hope Greika feels better soon.

Investing in local schools

I believe in the law of attraction. Keeping a positive outlook in life will invite good things as well. Our business is now at a new location and moving to a new office means developments within our Cebu office are to be expected. This latest move has led us to invest in local schools.

Educators in any part of the world help mould the efficacy of an individual. In the long run, their successes affect their country’s future. The Philippines is currently financially unstable and that will have an impact in the different sectors particularly education. Sometimes certain purchases are pushed back to cater to higher priorities such as books, etc. This week, we donated 6 of our metal office tables to Cebu City Don Carlos A Gothong National Memorial School.

I feel that contributing to one of the tools that shape a community’s future is one of the best ways to invest. Thinking about the future, I believe that education is a sure investment since education plays a big role in the success of a person as well as the entire country in the long run. We support education and we hope our contribution could bring something to the table. I respect educators in what they do and it’s good to help them in any way.

Mirai no Mori Charity Run 2025: Our Biggest Run Yet!

https://mirai-no-mori.jp/

On November 9, 2025, 137 runners gathered in Futako Tamagawa, Tokyo for the Mirai no Mori Charity Run—our biggest event yet. Joined by 1 LIT, 4 graduates, 3 volunteers, 14 staff and interns, and supported by partners Eco Marathon, KIWL, Ai Sakura, and Patrick Achache, the day brought together a wonderfully diverse community. Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, the event raised an outstanding 1,024,000 yen in support of Mirai no Mori’s programs. Participants ranged from seasoned runners chasing personal bests to first-time half-marathoners, beginners taking their first steps into the sport, and families and friends enjoying a relaxed weekend walk. Their collective spirit created an atmosphere full of energy, kindness, and shared purpose.

As the crowd gathered for check-in, it was uplifting to see individual donors, corporate sponsors, volunteers, organizational partners, and even a care worker all coming together for the same mission. Continuing a beloved tradition, each participant received a special tenugui (Japanese handkerchief) designed by a Mirai no Mori graduate who has been involved in our programs for over 12 years. She joined us on the day and was delighted to see everyone enjoying her artwork. This meaningful gift was made possible through the generous support of Ai Sakura and Patrick Achache. To share a bit of the camp spirit, we also offered stickers representing our five core values—Courage, Kindness, Leadership, Respect, and Responsibility. Our LIT and graduates, many of whom had learned these values as campers, welcomed participants, shared how these values continue to guide their lives, and encouraged runners to select one value to take home, just as campers do after our outdoor programs.

The Opening Ceremony began with warm greetings from Mirai no Mori’s Executive Director and a representative from Eco Marathon, followed by a lively raffle draw. We are incredibly grateful to all raffle donors, especially IHG Hotels & Resorts and Wahoo for contributing top prizes. Our graduates drew the winning numbers, filling the moment with excitement and smiles. This was followed by a pre-run stretching session led by graduates and an LIT, adding a signature touch of Mirai no Mori spirit that set a positive tone before the races began.

With cheers rising along the riverbank, the 10km and half-marathon runners set off first, followed by the 3km runners and walkers. Many familiar faces from our corporate partners joined the challenge, and some of our graduates and LIT ran alongside them, celebrating the community’s shared commitment to supporting the children we serve. At the finish line, runners were greeted with applause, high-fives, and the now-iconic Mirai no Mori goal tape that inspired many to push through for a strong final sprint. Top finishers received handmade origami medals and prizes donated by our corporate partners, including custom T-shirts from Ai Sakura, whose team members also came to support—and even participate in—the run.

Despite the rainy weather, the spirit of the day remained bright. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who ran, walked, donated, volunteered, or cheered. Beyond the funds raised and awareness spread, this event was a powerful reminder of the strength and diversity of the community that believes in Mirai no Mori’s mission and in the potential of the children we support. Special thanks to KIWL, Eco Marathon, Ai Sakura, and Patrick Achache for their key roles in making this year’s Charity Run a success. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year as we continue building a brighter future together, one step at a time.

Standing with Het Sikkelcelfonds: Why I Support the Fight Against Sickle Cell Disease

https://hetsikkelcelfonds.nl/

Sometimes a cause resonates so deeply, you must speak out. For me, that cause is sickle cell disease. I am proud to support Het Sikkelcelfonds, a Dutch foundation dedicated to addressing this genetic condition.

What Is Sickle Cell Disease?

Cell Disease (SCD) is a hereditary disorder that causes red blood cells to become rigid and sickle-shaped. These cells can block blood vessels, reduce oxygen flow, and break down prematurely, resulting in pain, organ damage, chronic fatigue, and sometimes early death.

Despite its significant impact, SCD receives limited attention in public health, especially in Europe. Each year, approximately 300,000 children are born with the disease worldwide, and many do not survive past childhood due to inadequate care.

SCD is both a health and social justice issue that requires greater attention.

Why I Support Het Sikkelcelfonds

Founded in 2017, Het Sikkelcelfonds is the only Dutch organization dedicated to sickle cell disease. The foundation raises awareness, supports patients, and funds research.

Their goals are clear and urgent.

  • Raise public awareness of SCD and its impact.
  • Fund innovative research toward better treatments and a cure.
  • Support patients and their families through advocacy and education.

Supporting Het Sikkelcelfonds advances health equity and compassion. No child should suffer from a preventable disease.

How You Can Help

You do not need to be a doctor or scientist to make a difference. Here are ways you can contribute.

  • Donate: Every contribution helps fund life-saving research. Donate here.
  • Share: Start conversations about sickle cell disease to raise awareness and inspire others to act.
  • Fundraise: Organize an event or campaign to help drive progress.
  • Learn: Visit hetsikkelcelfonds.nl to access vital information.

Supporting Het Sikkelcelfonds advances health equity and compassion. No child should suffer from a preventable disease.

Final Thoughts

Supporting Het Sikkelcelfonds is personal for me, not because I have the disease, but because I believe healthcare should be inclusive, research representative, and every life valued.

If this message resonates with you, take action now: share it widely, donate today, or become actively involved. Your support can make a real difference in helping eliminate sickle cell disease.

Let us raise our voices and take meaningful steps for those who need them most.
